Atlanta Photographer Laurie Edward Matthews was born and raised in a small town in Upstate, South Carolina. Laurie Edward has always had an artisit love for the art of photogrpahy, especially the male figure. His work is often bold, sensual and provocative, but created to signify the beauty of the male physique. His clean, unflinching style challenges viewers to confront the beauty of the human being and its need for self expression. Although his work deals with the sensitive subject of the nude male, its pristine quality enables his photography to bridge the gap between provocative subject matter and artistic respectability. Laurie Edward moved to Atlanta, GA in 2004 with his life parther to further his career as a photographer.
